It all started when I was born as Robert CRAIG Sanner in Sunny San Diego then suddenly thrown 2,000 miles east to Decatur, Illinois to grow up. After 11 years of small town USA we all moved back to Southern California, and I brought back a mind painted with many classic and modern film masterpieces and epics just as much as it was Saturday morning cartoons (you need to entertain yourself somehow living in small towns).

From there, armed with an overactive imagination, I happened by chance to find a college level editing class being offered at my high school and immediately became obsessed.  I loved the act of making a movie and even had a knack for it. After it was over, I got myself a copy of Final Cut Pro 4 and self taught myself as much as I could and made movies for myself and everyone who needed one.

Fast forward to me at Academy of Art University to study everything related to film. I wanted to hone in on and refine my skills and took classes in virtually every facet of filmmaking from writing to cinematography. But found what I started as were what I was best at, editing and directing. Now I'm a graduate with no more raw talent and instead fine professional skills sharpened by my professors and peers ready to make even more movies for myself... somethings simply don't change.
